People use Podcasts to listen to audio content when they want to (time shifted listening) on any portable mp3 players not only iPods. You get Podcasts by "subscribing" to a Podcast feed (an XML file). It is like subscribing to a newspaper, you subscribe once but instead of a newspaper being delivered to your door, newly published Podcasts are automatically downloaded to iTunes in your computer and then into your connected mp3 player or iPod. In order to have our Podcasts automatically downloaded to your MP3 player or iPod, you must use a Podcast Receiver that subscribes to our feed and automatically downloads our Podcasts.
